David 'DD' Davis

My name is David Davis and I am the DD behind DD Development Studio. I am currently living out life in Dunedin, FL with my girlfriend and our 2 cats.

With over 25 years of experience in technology, I've evolved from a hands-on software developer to a technical leader who excels at bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. My career spans multiple industries including telecommunications, manufacturing, e-commerce, and IoT, giving me a unique perspective on how technology can drive business success.

Most recently, I served as a Senior Developer at XCentium, where I led full-stack development for Optimizely Configured Commerce clients. Prior to that, I was a Senior Manager at Zayo, where I established and led a new Service Automation team responsible for developing back-end systems to automate customer circuit delivery. This role showcased my ability to manage multiple development teams while driving strategic initiatives.

My approach combines technical expertise with strong leadership skills. I believe in building high-performing teams through mentorship, clear communication, and strategic planning. Whether it's implementing complex technical solutions or leading cross-functional teams, I focus on delivering results that align with business objectives.

Creating this website has been a passion project of mine. I am really enjoying the creative freedoms it provides me and I expect that to come out more and more as the website progresses.
